Bad Beats
Paying attention in poker online gives you a host of clues as to what your opponents are thinking, and what they’re going to do. In addition to looking for their patterns and tells, try to pay attention to how their game is going for them. Players react differently to different jeux de casino situations, and knowing how they respond is a great key to figuring them out. If you see a online poker player get burned on a bad beat, be on the lookout for some reckless play. I’ve seen a lot of players (including myself) of all skill levels start betting aggressively after they’ve been outdrawn. The mentality can range from “I don’t care anymore” to “I’m due for some good luck right about now”. Even tight players may loosen up their game when a flush on the river beats their straight.
When you see a particularly heinous bad beat, pay attention to the player who got burned. If he starts playing every hand that he’s dealt, the odds are that he’s tilting and it’s time for you to move in on him. A lot of times, he’ll be hoping for a killer flop, so try raising pre-flop and taking his blinds before he gets to see it.
