Cap and Tassel

A cap and tassel are both worn during graduation. A cap is also known as a mortarboard and a tassel is also known as a liripipe. A cap is an item found in academic regalia and is worn on the head during a graduation ceremony. The cap and tassel give the graduate a feeling of prestige and accomplishment.
